「PIERRE HARDY」は、デザイナーのピエール・アルディが1999年S/Sにフランスで設立したシューズブランド。ピエール・アルディは、1988年に「クリスチャン・ディオール」で靴のデザインに携わったことで有名になりました。その後、「エルメス」のメンズとレディスのシューズデザイン、2001年には「バレンシアガ」のシューズデザインを手がけたことでさらにキャリアアップ。また、2007年には「GAP」とコラボレーションしたラインを発表。その他、フランスのカジュアルバッグブランド「セコイア」のアートディレクターも担当するなど、多彩な才能を発揮しています。そんな彼が提案する自身のブランド「PIERRE HARDY」は、ヒールの高いヴィヴィッドでセクシーなカラーのシューズやパンプス、ブーツなどが特に人気。2001年にはメンズラインもスタートしました。2003年にはパリに初のフラッグシップストアをオープン。2006-2007 A/W からはバッグラインも発表しています。
