N.HOOLYWOODIs it とは?

デザイナーの尾花大輔は元々古着屋のバイヤー兼ショップマネージャー。1995年に古着のセレクトショップ、go-getterの立ち上げに参加し、ヴィンテージブームのなかでデザイン性の強い古着をセレクト、話題を集めました。その後同店内にてリメイクやオリジナルの展開を始め、2000年より「N.HOOLYWOOD」をスタート。その経歴からも、古着やミリタリーのテイストがブランドアイデンティティのベースになっています。2002年、東京で初のコレクションを発表。“クリミナル”“スクラップ”などアンダーカルチャーの要素をプラスして発表されるコレクションは、アーミースタイルを好むコアなファンに強く支持されています。2004年にショップを神宮前に移転。2007年にパリで初の展示会“N.HOLLYWOOD COMPILE”を発表し、さらに翌年2008年には香港に初の路面店をオープン。また2010年よりコレクション発表の場をNYに移しています。米軍アイテムをタウンユースに落とし込んだ「TEST PRODUCT EXCHANGE SERVICE」も人気。
