MOSCHINO CHEAP&CHICIs it とは?

1988年設立の「モスキーノ」のセカンドライン。創設者はフランコ・モスキーノ。彼は、元々「ヴェルサーチ」でイラストレーターとして働いていました。1994年の彼の死去後は、ロッセラ・ヤルディーニがデザイナーに就任。現在はデザイナー不在で、デザイナーチームで活動しています。アイロニーが効いた、キュートでクリエイティブ性の高いデザインが人気。また服だけにとどまらず、香水の販売も行っています。ファーストラインよりプライスもリーズナブルで、カジュアルなアイテムが多くの女性から支持を集めています。2011年には、「モスキーノ」としてイングリッシュ・ナショナル・バレエ団のためにチュチュを創作。モチーフはイギリス東部の伝統であるパーリー・キング・アンド・クイーンで、エレガントで可愛らしい仕上がりが評判になりました。現在、日本ではブルーベル・ジャパン社が総括。ショップは新宿伊勢丹や日本橋高島屋など。『Figaro』『VOGUE』といった女性誌に掲載されています。
