MILKIs it とは?

コンセプトは“少女の夢”。そのテーマのとおり、ガーリーでロマンティックな世界観が魅力。1970年原宿にショップをオープン。当初は、“元祖ロリータ”として熱狂的なファンがいるほど最も古い歴史を持つブランドでした。現在では、いわゆる“ロリータファッション”とは違うカジュアルでストリート性の高いアイテムを取り揃えています。中川翔子やAMOといった人気タレントに愛用されていることでも有名。『CUTiE』や『Zipper』などの若い世代向けの女性誌に掲載多数。フリルやレース、ポップでスウィートなプリントといった可愛らしいテイストのなかに、パンクなムードを加えたユニークなデザインが特徴。独特の色使いが印象的ではあるものの、シックな色使いで大人っぽく着られるアイテムもあり。デザイナーは、裏原宿のカリスマとも言われる大川ひとみ。1974年にはメンズブランド「MILK BOY」もスタート。こちらも多くのコアなファンを得ています。フラッグシップショップや取扱店を合わせ、現在全国に19店舗を展開。
