JUN OKAMOTOIs it とは?

デザイナーの岡本順が2002年にパリで設立したブランド。彼は、文化服装学院卒業後、パリのステュディオ・ベルソーへ入学し、アレキサンドル・マチューのアシスタントを経て独立しました。パリを拠点に活動を始め、2007年春夏シーズンから東京での展示会もスタート。2008年秋冬シーズンから、障害をもった方たちが織る「さをり織り」や、障害をもった人たちの描く絵とのコラボレーションを始めました。独得のデザイン感覚と社会貢献から生み出される洋服は、世界中の多くの人を魅了しています。2010年からは、拠点を東京に移し、2011年６月には、「JUN OKAMOTO」のパターンを使ったセミオーダーライン「wallflower by jun okamoto」が初のオンリーショップとして自身の故郷である熊本にオープン。そのほか、「バーニーズニューヨーク」などのセレクトショップは、全国の百貨店などで取り扱われています。
