ピンクやブラックを使ったフェミニンな印象が特徴のブランド。レディースウエアメーカーを経営する両親のもとで本格的にファッションの勉強をしたデザイナーのジル・スチュアートが設立し、1994年にNYコレクションデビュー。ブランドのキーワードは“キュート、プリティー、セクシー”で流行に敏感な若い女性から支持を受けています。シリーズは洋服のみならずバッグやアクセサリー、ウエディングドレスにもおよび、2005年には、ジルの念願だったコスメもスタートさせたほか、従来のテイストに若さと大胆さを加えた「JILL by JILLSTUART」、ベビー＆キッズラインの「JILLSTUART NEW YORK」などの姉妹ブランドも展開中。常にインターナショナルなスタンスは、新鮮さを求め続けるオシャレセレブたちにもファンが多く、フラワーデザイナーのニコライ・バーグマンやイギリスのLIBERTY PRINTとのコラボレーションも話題を集めました。また、2009年にはブランドアイテムを使用してプロデュースしたカフエ「JILLSTUARTCAFE」が大阪にオープン。
