「HYSTERIC GLAMOUR」のスピリットは、ロックとファッションの融合。60～80年代のロック、アーティな要素を取り入れたアイテムが中心で、カラーもモノトーンが多いのが特徴。デザイナーの北村信彦は1984年に（株）オゾンコミュニティに入社し、若干21歳という若さで同ブランドを立ち上げました。独自の雰囲気やスタイルを持ち、トレンドには左右されず、そのデザインやコンセプトを長きにわたってキープ。また北村は国内外のさまざまなアーティストとも親交が深く、これまでに交流関係を形にしたプリントTシャツのコレクションも発表。ショップは1986年に原宿に直営店をオープン。その後、ロンドンで「Hysteric Glamour UK」の生産をスタート。さらに1998年には「Hysteric Glamour USA」を設立するなど、海外にも拠点の場を広げています。商品もレディスからメンズ、キッズ、小物、アクセサリーと多用に揃えており6つのラインが存在。そのすべての商品は、送料無料のオンラインストアからも購入することができます。
