元政治家という異例の経歴をもつデザイナー、エミリオ・プッチが創立したブランド。1947年、高校時代に自身でデザインしたスキーウェアが雑誌で紹介されて人気を得たことをきっかけに評判を集め、鮮明なプリント柄と大胆な図柄、色を使った通称「プッチ柄」は、マリリン・モンロー、エリザベス・テーラー、ジャクリーヌ・ケネディなどアメリカを中心に各国のセレブに人気になりました。大胆ながらも上品で女性の気品を感じるデザインは、現在も世界中の女性の憧れ。2003年からは、クリスチャン・ラクロワがアーティスティック・ディレクターを務めています。日本では、2004年11月に「エミリオ・プッチ銀座店」がオープン。このほか、関東、中部、関西、九州の百貨店にも出店中。
