1965年にカナダで生まれたブランド。デザイナーは、ディーンとダンの双子兄弟。ともにトロントでデザイナーとして６年のキャリアを積んだあと、ミラノに渡りフリーのデザイナー、スタイリストなどを経験してきました。1994年に「D2」としてミラノコレクションでデビュー。「自分たちが着たいものをつくる」というコンセプトでつくられるカジュアルウエアは、近代的なベーシックをもとにしたイタリアンモードとアメリカンスポーツを融合させた彼ら独特のクリエイションで世界的に人気を集め、海外の有名セレクトショップなどで扱われています。もともとメンズラインのみだったが、2003年には、レディスラインも本格的にスタート。日本では、三崎商事によって展開されており、2004年５月、青山に路面店がオープンしました。
