Dior HOMMEIs it とは?

「DIOR HOMME」は、2001-2002A/Wのパリコレクションに「Christian Dior」のメンズラインとして発足。当時のデザイナーはエディ・スリマン。ファーストシーズンに“男たちにもっと洗練され、もっと魅力的なものになって欲しい”と黒を基調としたレザータキシードや細身のジャケットなど、非常にタイトなシルエットの作品を発表。その後、その革新的なデザインはブランドアイデンティティとして確固とした地位を築きました。またスキニーデニムも人気を集めるなど、そのスタイルはおしゃれに敏感な多くの人々に影響を与えており、日本の雑誌にも数多く掲載されました。その後、2004年にウォッチラインを発表。2007年のスリマンの辞任後、クリス・ヴァン・アッシュがデザイナーに就任。これまでの“ロックテイスト寄りのモード”から一転、“エレガントでクラシカル”なイメージを幅広く商品展開しています。
